Lily Love

A beautiful water lily in dappled light at McKee Botanical Garden in Vero Beach, Florida. I love the anthers that look like flames. Did you know that once the water lily closes it sinks into the water for its seeds to ripen? As the seeds move through the water they settle into the muck to germinate.
