Lilac of the South

Crepe Myrtle is called the "Lilac of the South" and it has always been one of my favorites. I love the showy blooms which are actually clusters of tiny beautiful, ruffled florets. These flowers symbolize love, beauty, longevity, good fortune, and they bloom when they are happy.
